Life happens. How can we be supportive?

We all experience life in different ways, influenced by experiences we may have had until this moment in time and any lessons and coping mechanisms we may have learned while learning how to survive. In our work and life, one of the best things we can offer to people around us is to acknowledge their unique experiences and offer supports as they need it.

Recognizing that life happens, I have used some ways to support students in my classes as they pursue excellence in their studies and wrote about some such supports for students. It’s published on the Dalhousie Centre for Learning and Teaching’s FOCUS Blog and you can find the article through this link.

If you have any ideas to support students or educators, please feel free to reach out. I’d love to learn from you! You can reach me via raghav@cs.dal.ca or via Twitter at @RaghavSampangi

Take care and have an amazing day!
